Dad, what can I say other than I love you and miss you more than you know. You were cheated and taken to early, others where cheated as well, too many to name. My children will know ALL about you and I will try like hell to be half the man you were, please look down on Kara and I as we continue on and guide us all on the right path. I will see you soon on that big hunt. I love you, Old Man. Your Son, Chad

Jeanette...my heart goes out to you......Rose

What a terrible loss for Jeanette, Jeff's boys, their families, and for us. At Grounds, Jeff was always one of the most kind, funny, and intelligent people I've known. He was always a lot of fun to "fight" with. It was such a great thing to watch Jeff and Jeanette's relationship, and then to hear about their plans for their future in the country. My most sincere condolences go out to all of you.
-Christa Shulters

Jeanette and Family, I am so very sorry. Jeff was always so nice and helpful to me. I remember when I was trying to get my CDL License for my job at Grounds. Jeff helped me learn all the various parts of a 5yd. Dump truck. When it was time for the road trip in the truck, Jeff rode with me. I was scared but confident having Jeff there. Many times I ran into Jeanette and Jeff shopping at Meijer's. Jeff would play the tap on the shoulder trick as I turned to see his big smile. God Bless you all. Mary Nix

My dear nephews Chad and Jeremy, We just wanted both of you to know, Debb and I are here for you anytime of the day or night, just pick up the phone or come over. Don't try and do it on your own, you both have so many loved ones that care and would do anything for you. Lean on all of us, we can hold you up. Be good to yourselves, don't do harm your dad wouldn't want you to.. Grandma says: Her heart goes out to you both, and she loves you very much.. Love, Aunt Diane, Aunt Debbie and Grandma. Jeanette, We are sorry for your loss. Bless those who persecute you. Don't curse them; Pray that God will Bless them. Be happy with those who are happy and weep with those who weep. Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone. Dear friends, never take reveng. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures says, I will take revenge, I will pay them back, says the Lord. Instead if your enemy is hungry, feed them, if they are thirsty give them something to drink. Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:14-15, 17-20, 21
-Diana, Debbie and Grandma

Jeanette, My heart aches for you and your family. Words are a struggle to get out. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss. Jeff was such a great guy. I have so many memories of him at Grounds. I can't tell you how many times he went out of his way to help me no matter what he had to do or how he felt. He always made sure I was doing things safely. He was such a gentleman. I remember trying so many times to get a photo of him but he was always put his hands up and giggle. I did manage to get a few which I'll get to you. Jeff was the first one at Grounds, in my memory, to ride his motorcycle to work. I remember being so jealous and desperately wanting a ride...he always politely declined but that didn't stop me from asking again! I have memories of Christa and Stephanie and I all standing around his bike and dreaming of our own bikes, and Christa calling him "Hillbilly". I remember when you came in one day and announced that you and Jeff had eloped. You were blushing and so happy. We were all so happy for you! Jeff was so very special and will not be forgotten. I am so blessed that I had the chance to work with him. When you are ready, I would love to help you plant that tree. You and your family are in my prayers. Much love, Ann
-Ann Wilson

Dear Jeanette and Family, He is gone from our sight... but never our memory, gone from our hearing... but never our hearts, gone from our touch... but his presence is felt, and the love that he gave us never departs. With Deepest Sympathy, Jann
