Dear Jeff,
What can I say, what can I do... I was at your beautiful wedding. What a wedding it was. Casey and I met at Purple Mushroom. I sell Mary Kay Cosmetics and she loved the product and decided to start her bussiness as well. Alot was going on at that time for her. She as you know had an ora about her. She sure did LOVE YOU. What a good husband you were to her. She was a hard worker maybe too hard. She left her footprints on this earth just the way she had planned I do believe. She thought before she spoke and was always put others before her. What great lessons we have learned from her. She was a free spirit and lived for today, but you knew that about her that is why you married her. Jeff, May your pain be softened by her love for you. Warmly, Beth Piacentini

Sending my strongest condolences to all of you in this time of loss. I fell ou of touch with Casey when I had to move to Florida but my childhood with her was the best. We would play in the woods by our old church with this old plastic kitchen thing for hours. We spent alot of time together during and after church. I remember so much about my time with her as does everyone else. I will miss her and just the knowledge of her being here. God must be making one big scrapbook to need someone like Casey! I will see again someday.

Dear Russ, Linda, Russ Jr., Shawn, Jason and families.
Our lives were forever changed and blessed when we met you in 1970, while you were attending Bible College in Dayton, Ohio. We were knit together in the bonds of the Holy Spirit as we shared in the experiences and the joys of each of our kids. There were our three boys and your three boys; then, came Casey! What a joy!
One of our favorite experiences was our camping adventure when we met near Sandusky and Cedar Point. (That ol'pick up truck and all them kids!)
Life and God's calling took us different directions as we played the U.S. map like a checker board. We remained close, though miles apart. You, Russ, are my brother,(by the blood of Christ), and my dearest friend. I only wish I had words to console you and your families in your grief. Your loss is our loss; your pain is our pain. But, we have this hope, ...
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 (New Living Translation)
The Hope of the Resurrection
13 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died[a] so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. 14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.[b] 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died[c] will rise from their graves. 17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. 18 So encourage each other with these words.
To Jeff, who found his love-light in Casey, and to Renee who loved her as her own, we also express our deepest sympathy and hope for the resurrection!
May His Holy Spirit be your comforter in this time of parting.
Heavenly Love,
the Greenlee families (Ohio, Illinois, Colorado).

I went to school with Casey, and one of my favorite memories is an enrichment trip where a young gentleman our age came up to her and started singing to her because he thought there was something magical about the fact her eyes were different colors. She was laughing and embarrassed, but even strangers saw how special she was. My thoughts and prayers go out to Casey's family and all those who knew and loved her.

All I can remember was a little blond girl sitting with her mom in the back of the Limestone Pentecostal Tab worshiping our GOD. Thank GOD for that seed that was planted and for Caseys new home. She is with her heavenly Father, now that is real. I just pray that reality of Casey being with Jesus will carry her family thru this great loss. GOD BLESS TO THE WHOLE FAMILY. Mark R. Strauss

One of the fondest memories of my childhood and growing up in Limestone was going to grandma's house and having my Combs cousins next door - we rode bikes together and Casey was the occasional babysitter. Seeing so many incredible people rally around her family, as I write this, testifies to the far-reaching impact her life has had already. I pray, God, that you would be a solid foundation and comfort for her family right now. Continue to use Casey's life and, in doing so, show us your unique ability to take even the most tragic situations and use them for our good and ultimately your glory. Amen.

I only knew Casey for a short while but her presence on this earth touched me. I had the oppurtunity to work with Casey at Heslop's in Livonia from 2000-2001. Time marches on and Casey and I lossed contact. However, I will never forget her positive energy and strength. It inspired me to be positive in my life even in the worst of times. I loved being around her because her smile lifted my spirits. No clouds can ever cover up her sunshine. She could comfort anyone on the most rainy day. I am honored that I got the chance to be a part of Casey's life. I will never forget the sweetness of such a beautiful person.

Dear Jeff,
My heart aches for you knowing the pain you are feeling. Although I didn't know Casey well, I felt that if a wonderful man like you loved her, she had to be a very special woman. I will always remember your beautiful wedding, what a happy day that was. I don't know why God takes young and vibrant people such as Casey, but we have to believe that there is a reason why He wanted her with Him in heaven.
I pray that God will give you and your family the strength needed to accept this sad loss of your beloved Casey.
With Love

Cassandra Kay was one of my best friends in High School. We loved the New Kids on the Block. We loved being a part of the "Class of 95". Casey enjoyed having the Halloween Dance every year. She loved being a Limestone Tiger cheerleader. We had so many slumber parties in that little trailor that we loved because we could see everything that went on in good old Limestone. Casey was always full of positive energy. She was a leader, she always spoke her mind. She loved her family especially her big brothers. Some of my greatest memories of school are with her. Linda and Russel, Jeff, and family you are in my prayers, she will always have a special place in my heart!

Russell, Renee, Linda and son's. We cannot begin to imagine your sorrow. We extend to all of you our heartfelt sympathy. We knew very little of Casey personally, yet as a first hand recipients of your kindness as neighbors, as mentors in a walk with Jesus Christ and your true friendship, we know Casey was blessed to be your daughter. We know she was taught right and wrong and how to be a kind, loving and giving individual. We are sure that all these things were evident in Casey's life. We pray that God our Father in Heaven, Jesus our Lord and Savior and the Holy Spirit will comfort each of you with peace knowing that Casey is now in His presence. We pray that He will take each of you by the hand and walk with you in the days to come. With our most sincere condolences. John and Susan Burns

Monica and I were shopping at a Sterling Height's store some years back. I locked the keys in the car. Casey came with some of her family to take us home to Lapeer-an hour or so drive one-way. We had lots of laughs. Being stranded didn't seem so bad. She helped make the shower for Anne-Marie lots of fun. I have memories of Casey watching LEFT BEHIND with us at the Fish Lake rental house. She made our lives better.

In all honesty, I have always admired Casey---her everyday outlook on life, positive thinking, hardworking, and just an all around really nice girl. I had the good fortune to meet and work with Casey at Heslop's. After she left Heslop's and time went by, I was able to catch up with her when she started working at my favorite scrapbooking store. You could just tell by looking at her how much she really enjoyed what she did. I'll miss seeing her in the classes and the great help that she was. My deepest sympathies to all who knew and cared for her.

I knew Casey through my association with her at Archivers. Every time I visited the store (and that was often!), we chatted and laughed together. She teased me because I lost my keys in the store once and she never forgot it. On the Friday before her collapse, I was at Archivers and I waved my car keys at her when I entered the store...we had a good laugh over that. Everyone I speak with at Archivers has only praise for Casey...especially for her positive outlook on life. I am devastated with her loss and I will always remember her. Linda Weh

Dear Jeff and family, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I did not know most of you very well as I met Casey 2 years ago when we worked together at Burger King. I know her family meant the world to her!! She always had a smile on her face and an energy that few could keep up with. It did not matter what was going on in her life, she had such a positive outlook on life that bubbled over to all of us around her. The very first thing she would say to me when she walked into work was "Good Morning Sunshine!!" She said that every single day, regardless. I asked her one time why she said that...her answer was simple, she just replied "it's positive thinking girl lol, you should try it!" And everyday since then I have said that very same thing when I walk into work...thinking of her each time. Casey was truely a beautiful person, both inside and out, and will be missed greatly. Thank You Casey, for being my "sunshine" everyday :)

Dear Jeff,
I am heartbroken over the loss of Casey. I am even more so because of you and your loved ones loss.
You don't know me but I worked with her and she was the brightest ray of sunshine that I have ever met. A group of us became close and we knew that she was crazy in love with you, her mom was her hero, your family treated her like a queen, and that she was crazy about her nieces and nephews. I have forever been changed to have had someone so positive, so energizing and so full of happiness in my life. I knew when I walked into work, that if she was there, it was gonna be a good day. She made us all feel good and she treated us all with respect. I will miss her every single day of my life.
I will pray that you find peace and that everyone in her families grow stronger by having had her in their lives.
