Arlene Sue (Griffin) Oleski, 65, passed away January 21, 2020.  She was born on April 26, 1954 in Piggott, Arkansas to her parents, James and Muriel (Hainstock) Griffin.  Arlene was born a twin to Carlene, entering this world 7 months early.  Arlene, her twin, Carlene; and her other sisters, Marie and Janet; along with her parents resided in Brighton, Michigan when Arlene was 6 months old.  Arlene made a life for herself in Brighton, Michigan, where she graduated high school and worked many jobs in the customer service field and management.  Arlene and Carl married in Brighton on August 17^th, 1974 and in 1982, they welcomed their son Matthew.  Arlene would say that these were among her greatest accomplishments.  She was a loving wife to Carl, the most wonderful mother to Matthew, and the greatest sister, aunt, and friend to all.  Her hobbies included, traveling, painting, swimming, and shopping.  She will be missed forever.

Arlene is survived by her husband, Carl Oleski of 46 years; her loving son, Matthew; her sisters, Marie and Janet; along with her daughter in law, Kelly; and many sister and brother in laws and countless nieces and nephews.  Arlene is surpassed in this life by her parents, James and Muriel Griffin; and her twin sister, Carlene.

Her Farewell… Arlene’s family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 1:00pm till time of service at 3:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for future designation.
