Petosky, Arthur “Art”

Arthur Ray Petosky, Age 64, passed away peacefully in his home with loved ones and his dog “Ripper” on November 17, 2019. He was born on March 25, 1955, in Saline, Michigan to Roy and Leta (Bowler) Petosky. Art worked at Heath Beach in Milan doing security and life guarding for 30 years. Recently he moved to the Brooklyn area with his companion of nine years Teresa Roffey along with longtime friend Max Bortles. He will be remembered as a man who would do anything for anybody. Art was true to his word and loved to do things for children. He especially loved to decorate for Halloween and even built a play structure for local children. Art was well loved and appreciated by many and touched so many lives. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Art will be missed by his loving companion Teresa, sisters Pam (Bill) Clay and Marian Hanselman, brothers Phil (Toni) Petosky, Arnie Petosky and Bill (Dar) Petosky, his furry friend “Ripper” as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Jim Petosky.
Art’s family and friends will gather Saturday, November 23, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm to celebrate his life at the Milan Road Angels Clubhouse 13220 Petersburg Rd., Milan. Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
