His Legacy… Gary William Storie, age 45, passed away November 28, 2019.  He was born on August 23, 1974, in Howell, MI to JC and Judith (DeWaelsche) Storie. Gary married the love of his life, Rita M. Burgess, on January 31, 1998, in Toledo, OH.   Gary was the owner of Storie Transport. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, snowmobiling, riding Harleys, or going up north to Lewiston, MI. Gary was big hearted and had a great sense of humor. He will be remembered as a hardworking, determined, caring husband, father and brother.

His Family… Gary will be missed by his children, Alex Storie, Hunter Storie, Tyler Storie; his father J.C.; step mother Lorene Storie; brother Tim Storie, sister Mary Sue Storie, Also survived by his brothers and sisters in law, mothers and fathers in law, many cousins, nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Rita M. Storie and his mother Judith.

His Farewell… Gary’s family and friends will gather on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 1:00PM-8:00PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Gary’s Community Farewell will be Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11:00AM, gathering beginning at 10AM at Peoples Church-Pinckney, 500 W.
