His Legacy… Gregory Scott Miasel, age 59, passed away January 3, 2020. He was born on July 19, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan to William Miasel and Sallie VanVuren. Greg was an entrepreneur and consummate master salesman. In his spare time, Greg enjoyed boating, cruising in his hot rod, listening to rock and roll music, cooking, and entertaining. Most of all, Greg loved spending time with his large extended family and his loving girlfriend, Lorry Berta, whom he traveled extensively with. They enjoyed volunteering at several non-profits in the area as well as being involved in church events. He will be remembered as a jokester with an infectious laugh, an amazing storyteller, an extremely hard worker, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

His Family… Greg leaves behind his children, Alexis, Greg, Adam, Lauren, Natalie, and Joe Burgess; grandchildren, Calvin, Lucy, and Vincent. He is also survived by his brothers, Brian and William; sister, Suzanne; stepfather, Roger VanVuren; stepbrothers, Ian and Anthony (Kari); and nephews, Ryan and Wesley. He is preceded in death by both his parents.

His Farewell… Greg’s Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 6PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel with a gathering beginning at 2PM until the time of service.
