Her Legacy… Lorraine Roulo, 97, passed away January 17, 2020.  She was born on November 2, 1922, in Dexter, Michigan to Leo J. Heatley and Louise (Devine) Heatley. Lorraine married the love of her life, Anthony James Roulo Sr., on May 18, 1946, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter, Michigan. She will be remembered for always being supportive and caring.

She loved to go out to dinner and dancing with her husband and to make Sunday night dinners for her family.  She is known for crocheting and knitting blankets for all of her family members.  Lorraine also loved to “win” Pinochle.  Being a devout Catholic was very important to her in her life. She will be missed by all who knew her. 

Her Family… Lorraine will be missed by her children, Jim (Melissa) Roulo, Patti (Pat) Curtis, Steven (Betsy) Roulo, Kevin (Marifelice) Roulo, and Margaret (Edward) Olson; siblings, Alice Hill, and Leo James (Faye) Heatley; grandchildren, Jen (Troy) Hoover, Dan (Laura) Curtis, Mark (Kate) Curtis, Tricia (Bret) Sundeck, Steve Roulo, William Roulo, Kati (Michael) Pritchett, Emily (Adam) Malone, Brittany (Matthew) Hunter, Madeline (Sam) Doyle, Christopher Roulo; great grandchildren, Drew Hoover, Jack Hoover, Danielle Curtis, Tony Curtis, Paul Curtis, George Curtis, Theo Malone, Evelyn Malone, and Norah Hunter ; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony James Roulo Sr; parents, Leo and Louise Heatley, and many siblings.

Her Farewell… Lorraine’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 4:00-8:00pm (7:00pm scripture service) at St. Joseph Catholic Country Church, 7155 N. Territorial, Dexter, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am (10:00am gathering) at St. Joseph Village Church, 3450 Dover Street, Dexter, Michigan.  Father Brendan Walsh will serve as presider.
