His Legacy… Robert Thomas Avey, 63, passed away January 11, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Avey and Kay Merle Wilson. Rob was in a committed relationship with Trudy his wife of many years. He will be remembered as a business owner of his stamped concrete company and landlord of several rental properties in the area. A man with a great work ethic and who’s family was important to him. He loved snowmobiling, 4 wheeling and big trucks. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Rob will be missed by his partner Trudy, his father Bob Avey, stepmother Kathy Avey, his brother Tim (Kim) Avey, his sister Aimee Avey and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sons Robbie and Colby Avey, his mother Kay Avey and brothers John and Mark Avey.

His Farewell… Rob’s family and friends will gather on Thursday January 16, 2020 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel followed immediately by Procession to Washtenong Memorial Park. A graveside Committal Prayer will be held at 11:00 am at Washtenong Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
