Obituary for MaryLou Nisbett

Her Legacy… MaryLou Nisbett, 76, passed away July 3, 2019. She was born on November 14, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to Desmond and Ann (Egan) Goodrich. MaryLou married the love of her life, Lionel “Sonny” Nisbett, on August 13, 1960, at the Shrine of the Little Flower, in Royal Oak, Michigan. She will be remembered as loving, caring, motivated, intelligent, determined, and independent. MaryLou was an avid gardener and enjoyed reading. She was a member of the Hartland Senior Center and Freedom Works.

Her Family… MaryLou will be missed by her children, Terrence (Kerry) Nisbett, Kelly (Kevin) Butler, David (Cathi) Nisbett; siblings, John Goodrich, Terry Goodrich, Jane Hire; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Desmond and Ann Goodrich; husband, Sonny Nisbett; brother, Michael Goodrich, and son, Michael Nisbett.

Her Farewell… A Scripture Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at (10:00 AM Gathering) 11:00am at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Howell, Michigan. Burial immediately following at St. John The Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Francis M. George will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to The American Cancer Society.
