Angela Austin

 Her Legacy… Angela Fay Austin, 45, passed away June 2, 2021. She was born on March 31, 1976, in Traverse City, Michigan to Ken Maxwell and Karen (Dailey) Maxwell. Angela married the love of her life, Mike, on December 4, 1996, in Santa Ana, California. Angela was an encourager with a heart to help people. She was a foster mother to fourteen kids, and mentored a number of young adults at formative times in their lives. Angela will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife and mother.

Her Family… Angela will be missed by her husband, Mike; her daughter, Makayla; adopted children, Jaime Brunette and Kevin Casey; father, Ken (Marlan) Maxwell; mother, Karen (Don) Hall; brother, Kenny (Tammie) Maxwell, nieces, Heidi and Ashley, nephew, Kenny, and by her many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Her Farewell… Angela’s family and friends will gather on Sunday, July 18th, 2021 from 2PM until the time of her Community Farewell at 2|42 Community Church 7526 Grand River Ave. Brighton, Michigan. Pastor Brad Tate will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for future designation.
