Her Legacy… Ann Marie Bauer, 62, passed away April 29, 2025.  She was born on May 15, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan to Edwin Meixner and Rosemary (Witgen) Meixner. Ann married the love of her life, John Bauer, on May 4, 1985, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ann was a social worker with Washtenaw County and had a big heart. She was very athletic and active and enjoyed skiing, boating, playing softball, golfing and volleyball; she was always up for anything. Ann was a natural born mother, a very cool mom, and was always present at her children’s events. She dearly loved her family and loved playing with her grandchildren. Ann was a great friend to many, people adored her.

Her Family… Ann will be missed by her husband, John Bauer; her children, Leah (Curt) Bridson, Evan (Emily Byers) Bauer; siblings, Erich Meixner, Ed Meixner, Harold Meixner; grandchildren, Hailey Bridson, Cooper Bridson; and Aunt Regina (Dayrl) Shrider. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Rosemary Meixner; and her father and mother in law, Joe and Mary Jean Bauer.
