Anthony Charles O'Connor

His Legacy… Anthony Charles O’Connor, 72, passed away on July 15, 2026.  He was born on August 17th, 1953, in Alexandria, Virginia to James and Carmella (Wohl) O’Connor. Anthony will be remembered as someone who was raised on the shores of Ore Lake in Brighton, Michigan, he enjoyed a childhood filled with adventure and cherished memories. He attended Pinckney Schools, where he formed lifelong friendships and developed the easygoing personality that would become his trademark. As a young boy, some of his happiest moments were spent riding bikes through Hamburg with his siblings, creating memories that would stay with him throughout his life. An avid golfer, he found peace and happiness on the golf course, where he enjoyed both the game and the friendships it brought. Known for his selfless heart, he was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the situation. Family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers could count on him whenever they needed support. His generosity expected nothing in return, and his willingness to help made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was a devoted and caring brother whose love for his family never wavered. His warm smile, friendly nature, and genuine interest in others made him an incredibly likable person. From 2000-2013, Anthony lived

in Eustis, Florida, where he embraced the sunshine and continued to build meaningful relationships within his community. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who have had the privilege of knowing him.

His Family… Anthony will be missed by his son; Anthony O’Connor Jr, siblings; Evette (Tom) Breningstall and John O’Connor. Also, many nieces and nephews along with two friends Cindy and Kathy. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Carmella O’Connor and his sister-in-law Carol O’Connor.
