Bisard, Audrey
Whitmore Lake, MI
Her Legacy… Audrey Ruthann Bisard, 81, passed away March 19, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1944, in Monroe, Michigan to Howard Cole and Volena (Braden) Cole. She was the youngest of nine children. Audrey married the love of her life, Orlyn Bisard, on March 9, 1968, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Audrey spent her career at Ford Motor Company, working her way up from the assembly line to inspector. After retiring, she spent 15 years working at the library in Whitmore Lake. She was a voracious reader and loved all music, but her favorite genre was country. Audrey enjoyed traveling with her husband, Orlyn. She was a devoted wife of 58 years and a wonderful caretaker to Orlyn after he went through surgery. Audrey was fiercely independent and stoic. She was incredibly caring, empathetic, sweet and the best friend you could ever ask for. If you were her friend, you were her friend for life. Audrey’s family meant everything to her and she adored her grandchildren. Audrey was an absolute joy to know, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Her Family… Audrey will be missed by her husband, Orlyn Bisard; her children, Jim Needham, Craig (Janet) Bisard, Tony (William Gibbons) Bisard, Marty (Christina) Bisard; grandchildren, Emily Needham, Jim (Jen) Needham, Alyssa Bisard, Cassandra (Strate) Flessas, Matthew Bisard; and numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Volena Cole; and her eight siblings.
