Audrey Ann (Moses) Engerson

Her Legacy… Audrey Ann Engerson, 84, passed away on October, 23, 2025.  She was born on October 10, 1941, in Roseville, Michigan to Charles and Alice (Bascilla) Moses. Audrey married the love of her life, John Engerson, on September 28, 1968, in Warren, Michigan. She will be remembered as a warm and generous woman whose love for family and faith shone through everything she did. Audrey found great joy in cooking and baking, and her family especially loved her famous grape leaves and cannoli. She cherished celebrating holidays with her loved ones, Christmas being her favorite. 

A devoted Catholic, Audrey dedicated much of her time to volunteering at her church and supporting the Special Olympics. She had a wonderful sense of humor, always ready to take a joke and dish it right back. And, of course, she greatly enjoyed her trips to Costco; true to who she was, she often spent just as much time making friends and chatting with strangers as she did browsing through each section. 

Her Family… Audrey will be missed by her loving husband, John Engerson; her children, Danielle (Ryan) Ish, Michelle (Steve) Wilson, and John Engerson; grandchildren, David Rife, Donald (Andrea) Lingenfelter, Derek Rife, Steven Murnighan, Emily (Ian) Goines, and Zachary (Sarah) Goines; great-grandchildren, Henry Rife, Nova Lingenfelter, Benjamin Rife, Cheyenne Lingenfelter, and Mazilyn Goines; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Charles and Alice Moses, and siblings, Mary Serna, Charles Moses, Rose Marie Mleczewski, Louis Moses, and Edward Moses. 

Her Farewell… Audrey’s family and friends will gather on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Fowlerville, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Fowlerville, Michigan.  Deacon Frank Wines will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Special Olympics.
