Barbara Jean (James) Marcucci

Her Legacy… Barbara Jean Marcucci, 59, passed away August 8, 2022.  She was born on November 16, 1962, in Pontiac, Michigan to Edward James and Lilybell (Adcock) James. Barbara married the love of her life and soulmate, Ted Marcucci, on November 11, 1989, in Detroit, Michigan at St. Paul of the Cross. She will be remembered as a compassionate and giving person who was very social and loved life. Barbara also loved her dogs and cats, enjoyed spending time outdoors, vacationing, the casinos, and was always active, especially with her kids. During her work years, Barbara worked hard as a postal worker and commercial cleaner, and her first job was always being a good mother.

Her Family… Barbara will be missed by her husband Ted; her children, Breanna Lynn, Joseph and Jared; siblings, Rick (Karen) James, Carol (Mike) Dorcey, Laura (Wally) Siebenrock, Jay (Christine) James; granddaughter, Lillian; parents-in-law, Joseph and Helen Marcucci; siblings-in-law, Tom (Cindy) Marcucci, Diane (Tom-deceased) Lowry, Donna (David) Pinelli; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Michael James.

Her Farewell… Barbara’s family and friends will gather from 2 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 11 am at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Lamb Chapel in Howell, Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Friday, August 12 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell. All are invited to a 1 PM luncheon after Mass at the American Legion at M59 and Grand River Ave. in Howell.  Father Gary Koenigsknecht will serve as celebrant.
