Her Legacy… Barbara Jeanette Zellinger, 83, passed away May 16, 2022.  She was born on February 13, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph Wesolowski and Sophie (Novak) Wesolowski. Barbara married the love of her life, Robert Zellinger, in 1959, in Detroit, Michigan. Barbara enjoyed traveling with her husband and adored her family. She was a very giving person and loved to cook for people. She always made sure that you were fed and she was famous for her pickles. Barbara was a joy to know and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family…Barbara will be missed by her children, Jackie (Kevin) Wiley, Robin (Bart) Gable, Robert Zellinger Jr.; grandchildren, Aaron (Kandy) Wiley, Nicole (Timothy) McCallum, Arthur (Sophie) Wiley, Doug Mrdeza, Ryan (Anna) Mrdeza; great grandchildren, Hannah, Kevin, Allyson, Joseph, Timothy, Easton, Lennon, Eden, Vinnie and Parker.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Zellinger; parents, Joseph and Sophie Wesolowski; and grandson, Andrew Mrdeza.

Her Farewell… Her Community Farewell will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, 11:00AM (10:00AM gathering) Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pinckney, Michigan. Father Dan Kogut will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
