Betty Lou (Green) Worsham

Betty Lou Worsham lost her battle with lung cancer on  Oct.23, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on Sept 15, 1935 in Gastonia, North Carolina to Joseph Clyde Green and Mae Love Smith. She married the love of her life Wade Worsham June 21, 1952. 

Betty will be missed by her children Ray Worsham and Janet {Mark) Jones. Grandchildren: Angela Waycaster, April (Mike ) Dertian, David Jones, Devin (Ben) Morgan. Great Grandchildren: Adam, Madison, Olivia, Marcus, Chloe, Trinity, Jaden and Sydney. Pat Hall (Betty's sister).

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, their son Norman Wade, her parents and many siblings. ( there were 13 children total)

Betty loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her home was small but her heart was big and the door was always open. She loved to travel, take scenic rides, long talks on the phone and special girls only  getaways. In her younger years she loved bowling and gardening. She will be missed by many.
