Her Legacy… Betty Jean Weincouff, 90, passed away February 24, 2026.  She was born on May 20, 1935, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to Harry Cowley and Nina (Lane) Cowley. Betty married the love of her life, Eugene Weincouff, in 1960, in Illinois. Betty was a proud Air Force veteran and she then volunteered at the VA for many years. She received her degree as an x-ray technician at the University of North Carolina. Betty was always cheerful, kind and caring. She loved dogs and always had one in her home;  she would dote on her fur babies. Betty was an avid reader and won reading contests at the Pinckney Library. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Betty was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Betty will be missed by her son, Eugene (Tracy) Weincouff Jr.; grandchildren; Garrett Weincouff and Hannah Weincouff. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Weincouff Sr.; parents, Harry and Nina Cowley; sister, Grace Bradshaw; and brother, Otis Cowley.

Her Farewell… Betty’s family and friends will gather for a Community Farewell on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 12:30PM (10:30 gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Hamburg, Michigan.
