Her Legacy… Beulah Florence Boote, 88, passed away April 07, 2025. She was born on June 06, 1936, in Trumann, Arkansas to William and Jewel (Armstrong) Britton. Beulah married the love of her life, James Boote, on February 25th, 1956, in Angola, Indiana. She loved her family and friends, raised her own children, as well as caring for everyone else’s. When she lived in Detroit, Beulah would pass out fresh fruit and popsicles to the neighborhood children. She loved feeding the birds and squirrels, grew a flower garden, and enjoyed spending time at her place up north at Lake George. Beulah loved arts and crafts, and gave small handmade gifts to friends and family members. Her favorite dish was her homemade chili, but she was also known for her potato salad, and pineapple upside-down cake. Beulah’s family will remember her for the many years of love and care that their family shared.
Her Family… Beulah will be missed by her children, Teresa (Ron) Cirone and Jim (Danielle) Boote; half-siblings, Loretta Gordon, Judy (John) Kozma, Charles “Butch” Hackney, Vicki Britton; grandchildren, Shyanne (Steven), Miranda (JR), Courtney, Rhiannon, Caitlin (Stephen), Allison (Trevor), Laura, and James; great grandchildren, Michael (Elia), Gabriel, Lillyane, Luca, Everly, Ava, Gianna, Declan, and Devon. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Boote; her parents, William and Jewel Britton; her brother, Jimmy Hackney; and her great granddaughter, Lexi Nelson.
Her Farewell… Beulah’s family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00AM, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10601 Dexter-Pinckney Road, Pinckney, MI.
