Obituary

Leitz, Beverlee

Fenton, Michigan

Her Legacy… Beverlee Hannah Leitz, 93, passed away July 1, 2022.  She was born on September 21, 1928, in Saginaw, Michigan to Delbert Fink and Ann (Gale) Fink. Beverlee married the love of her life, Gerald Leitz, on June 19, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan. Beverlee was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who, in the words of her loving grandchildren and children, was known for her love of reading historical fiction, sweets, and burnt hotdogs. She was also known as a bargain shopper, social director, queen of organization, and master labeler. She never met a person she didn’t talk to and like, a dish she didn’t like, and was always “flitting around.” She was always proud of the people she loved, and always made us feel special “just because we were us.” She always remembered her grandchildren’s birthdays, and reminded them of how happy she and their grandpa were when they were born. Most of all, she was known for her unshakeable faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ!  Her favorite saying was "I'm not going to worry about it; God will take care of it". "I've had the best life a person could possibly have." On her bathroom mirror she taped a. little piece of paper that said, “Good morning, this is God! I will be handling all your problems today. I will not need your help - So have a good day!" She will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Beverlee will be missed by her children Sherie (Brad) Garrison, Greg Leitz, and Shawn Marie; grandchildren Jason (Wendy), Jennifer (Brian),  Matthew (Susie), Sarah (Scott), Benjamin (Jennifer), Jefferey, and Karl; great grandchildren Avery, Olivia, Lucas, Hannah, Emmaline, William, Logan, Jack, Libby, Tessa, Abigail, Gracie, Benjamin, Nick, Dylan, Ethan, Landon, Nolan, Savanna, Jordan, Mason, and Averie; sister in-law Janet many nieces and nephews.
