Her Legacy… Beverly Ann Berczel, 83, passed away January 12, 2022.  She was born on February 24, 1938, in Wyandotte, Michigan to Edwin Sword and Ethel (Machinsky) Sword. Beverly married the love of her life, John Berczel, on April 3, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan. Beverly doted on her loving husband, and together they raised six children. She was a strong, determined woman. She had a genuine love for cooking and baking, and she was never afraid to try a new recipe. One of her greatest joys was bringing her family together around the table.

Her Family… Beverly will be missed by her husband John; her children, Cherri (Terry) Schultz, Garry (Lisa) Berczel, Terri Barletta, Kerri Huckestein (fiancé Kenneth Mangrum), Holly (Greg) Beer, and Kirsti (Steve) Pappert; sister Barbara Wilson, 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ethel.

Her Farewell… Beverly’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 3:00pm – 8:00pm, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hamburg, Michigan. Pastor Jeff Burgess will serve as celebrant.
