Brenda (Ayers) Monaster

Brenda Monaster, 81 went to be with the Lord November 18, 2021.

She was born on August 2, 1940 in Burnsville, North Carolina to Willard and Vergie Holcombe Ayers.

At the age of 12, while attending a Billy Graham Crusade, Brenda accepted Christ as her Savior.

On January 21, 1958, Brenda married the love of her life, Tony Monaster in Highland Park, Michigan.

Brenda was an incredibly loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. For many years, she served and taught the Gospel at the Missionary Workers Tabernacle in Detroit, Michigan.

An amazing hostess, Brenda never hesitated to welcome everyone with open arms.

Along with being a talented trumpet and piano player, Brenda was always up for serious competition. She loved participating in sports and games with her family.

Brenda was a joy and blessing and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Brenda leaves behind her husband, Anthony Monaster; her children: Callista (Steven) Henson, Theresa Monaster, Nick (Brenda) Monaster, Jennifer (Mark) Vellucci; brother Edward (Cynthia) Ayers; grandchildren: Anthony, Benjamin, Hannah, Tyler, Madison, Ramsey, Angela, Janelle, Christopher, Sarah, Jacob; great grandchildren, Aaron, Jaxson, Bethanie, Mollie, Olivia and Kavelia. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lowell and Eric Ayers, and grand-daughter Heather Wynn.

Her Farewell:

Brenda's family and friends will gather Monday, November 22, 2021 from 10-11 am at Hiawatha Bible Church, 6415 Buckshore Drive, Hamburg, Michigan, followed by her Community Farewell at 11 am. Pastor Jerry Wichert will serve as celebrant. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Make-A-Wish Foundation, LACASA Center.
