His Legacy… Bruce Edward Gibson, 78, passed away February 21, 2025.  He was born on February 11, 1947, in Pontiac, Michigan to George Gibson and Pearl (Lesperance) Gibson. Bruce graduated in 1965 from Pontiac Northern High School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army. Bruce married the love of his life, Susan Kay Trousdale, on June 18, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan.   He will be remembered as an avid outdoorsman who loved to go fishing in places like Canada, Alaska, and more recently, Florida. Bruce also enjoyed watching college basketball and football. He enjoyed listening to early rock-in-roll and other forms of music because it touched his soul. Bruce was a proud grandfather who loved his two grandchildren immensely.

His Family… Bruce will be missed by his son, Scott Gibson; siblings, David Gibson, Beverly (Jim) Wilfong, Rose (Dave) Jarois, Barb (Steve) Wright; grandchildren, Ashley Gibson, Holden Gibson; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Gibson; parents, George and Pearl Gibson; in-laws, Bill and Bea Trousdale.

His Farewell… Bruce’s family will have a private Committal Service at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to Vietnam Veterans of America.
