Bruce Edward Zucks, age 72, passed away October 15, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 10, 1953 in White Plains, New York to Leon and Dorothy (Thompson) Zucks. He will be remembered as a devoted father who was passionate about gourmet food and wine, along with a special love for dogs. 

Bruce leaves behind his beloved children, Julia and Tyler. He is preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, William and Dorothy Jean. He leaves behind his siblings Richard, Robert, Nancy and Karen as well as a niece and many nephews. He will be reunited at the Rainbow Bridge with his Golden Retrievers Bart, Zoe, Brady, Hailey and Crystal. 

After his service in the Marine Corps, Bruce followed his passion for cooking and worked as a chef in New York, Florida, Michigan and Maryland at hotels and restaurants, including some of the top-rated restaurants in the country. Later, Bruce transitioned to a pet grooming career, owning his own business in Maryland, Le Dog. After the birth of his twins, Julia and Tyler, he chose to be a stay-at-home dad. 

Bruce will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with military honors on October 21, 2025 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
