Her Legacy… Carol Ann Hovorka, 77, passed away October 12, 2023.  She was born on July 23, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony Dattilo and Giovanna (Bologna) Dattilo. She was a graduate of Cody High School. Carol married the love of her life, Joseph N. Hovorka, on July 22, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan. Carol adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandsons. Carol loved Jesus, she enjoyed her church bible studies, meeting “The Ladies” for lunch weekly and applying sparkles to everything to make things pretty. Carol was the sweetest spirit and loved by many.

Her Family… Carol will be missed by her husband, Joseph Hovorka; her children, Joe Hovorka, Nicole Hovorka; brothers, Michael Dattilo, Robert Dattilo; grandchildren, Elijah Hovorka, Lindsay Hovorka, Lillian Hovorka (Bleim); great-grandsons, Hilton and Damien; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Giovanna Dattilo; and sister, Lorraine Dattilo.

Her Farewell… Carol’s family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life, Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 3:00PM-5:00PM at NorthRidge Church, 7555 Brighton Road, Brighton, Michigan.
