Her Legacy… Carol Bernadette Orlowski, 76, passed away October 26, 2023. She was born on June 20, 1947, in Detroit, Michigan to Walter H. Orlowski and Connie (Skibinski) Orlowski. Carol worked at Eastern Michigan University for 29 years and loved her job there. She especially enjoyed getting to know the students and helping them in any way she could. Carol was proud of being granted Emeritus status with the University upon her retirement in honor of her years of dedication and service there. Carol valued education and spent a lot of time reading; she especially loved history. She was an excellent cook, she made many delicious Polish dishes, as it was a part of her heritage of which she was very proud. Carol loved chatting at gatherings and she had a very distinctive laugh that you could hear from across the room. She had a strong faith and served many years ago as a Eucharistic Minister and Lector at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Carol had strong convictions and perseverance. In her downtime she enjoyed gardening, going on walks, and listening to Elvis. Her family was the most important thing to her and she would do anything for her sons, whom she adored. Carol was a joy to know and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
