Her Legacy… Carol Sue Schultz, 79, passed away December 21, 2021. She was born on January 2, 1942, in Evansville, Indiana to Fred Williams and Virginia (McClarney) Williams. Carol married the love of her life, Fred Schultz, on April 18, 1964 in Henry Ford Village, Michigan. Carol was the ultimate caregiver; she was a person who loved children, especially babies, and animals. Any animal in need would find its way to her. She was hard-working, warm, and incredibly loving. Carol spent many years active in charity work with the Make a Difference Foundation, where she was recognized as being the top volunteer. She loved her cabin up North, Detroit Red Wing sports, and classic cars, especially the Plymouth Prowler. Carol was also very creative, her hobbies being photography and decorating for holidays. She loved all holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. Most of all, Carol loved her family. She will be remembered as a most loving mother, sister, and grandmother.
Her Family… Carol will be missed by her children, Steve (Kathy) Schultz and Linda (Mike) Haase; siblings, David Williams and Linda (Chip) Swanson; grandchildren, Amanda, Sean, and Chris (fiancée Sydney); great grandchildren, Larry III and Aurora; dear friends, Jan Chekirda and family. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred and her parents, Fred and Virginia Williams.
Her Farewell… Carol’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, December 28, 2021, from 4:00pm – 8:00pm, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Family Farewell service will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg, Michigan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Children’s Burn Unit at the Detroit Medical Center.
