Her Legacy… Cecile Marie Stidham, 88, passed away June 10, 2026.  She was born on January 27, 1938, in Lapeer, Michigan to Cornelius Gibson and Mary (Wallace) Gibson. Cecile married the love of her life, Don Stidham, on April 2, 1956, in Missouri. Cecile was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who took great joy in taking care of her family. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and quilting. Don often joined her in quilting; they made beautiful quilts together. She also liked being in the garden, planting flowers. Cecile was a joy to know and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Her Family… Cecile will be missed by her children, Marie (Joe) Veal, Mark (Tammy) Stidham; sister, Connie; 14 grandchildren; and16 great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Stidham; parents, Cornelius and Mary Gibson; sons, Ray and Jim Stidham; sisters, Ethel and Jennis; brother, John; and grandson, Andrew Stidham.

Her Farewell… Cecile’s family and friends will gather Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Pinckney, Michigan. Her Community Farewell will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:00AM (9AM gathering) at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes, Pinckney, Michigan. Pastor Dan Quagliata will serve as Celebrant.
