His Legacy… Charles William Hofsess, 82, passed away July 25, 2022. He was born on May 14, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to Clay Hofsess and Beulah (Fitzgerald) Hofsess. Charles married the love of his life, Margaret Tamasiunas, on January 13, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan. Charles spent his career as a professional tool maker at Detroit Diesel. He will be remembered as a lifelong golfer, classic car enthusiast, and master of the trades. He loved all his family and friends. Charlie always enjoyed traveling with his wife and visiting with his grandchildren.

Charlies’ family is comforted knowing that he is reunited with long-time friends playing golf together again.

His Family… Charles will be missed by his loving wife Margaret; his children, Ken (Sally), Connie (Tony), Cathy, and Kevin (Debbie); sister, Annette; grandchildren, Lindsay, Matt, Derek, Kristina, Rachel, Aaron, Kyle, Emily, and Paige. Great grandchildren, Carter, Eloise, Savannah, and Mackenzie; and other family. He is preceded in death by siblings, Bill, Don, Steve, Clay, Fred, Ron, Wayne, Helen, Virginia, and Margaret.

His Farewell… Charles’s family and friends will gather Friday, July 29, 2022, from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan.
