His Legacy… Charles Hromek, 75, passed away May 20, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to Charles and Helen (Smith) Hromek.
Charles was an outgoing and social person and loved spending time with his friends and family. He deeply appreciated the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, and being out on the lake. He also had a great love for travel and took every opportunity to explore new places. Charles was a talented woodworker who enjoyed creating wooden keepsakes for his grandchildren.
He had a special place in his heart for his dogs, Gypsy and Holly, who were his faithful companions over the years. Charles took great pride in his work and continued to stay active in it throughout his life, never one to retire fully simply because he enjoyed what he did.
Above all, Charles was a caring and dedicated family man. He was a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
His Family… Charles will be missed by his children, Chris (Samantha) Hromek and Heather (Jeff) Blair; grandchildren, Stella Blair, Ethan (Kaylee Johnson) Hromek, Tristan Blair, and Gabriella Blair; and great-grandson, Westley Hromek. He is preceded in death by loving parents, Charles and Helen Hromek; and sister, Carrie Snyder.
