His Legacy… Charles Eugene Rose, age 87, passed away April 2, 2021. He was born on August 28, 1933, in Charlevoix, Michigan to Glenn and Ida (Curtis) Rose. Charles married the love of his life, Diana Pierson, and they spent 60 years together. As a soldier in the US Army, he served in Korea, earning several medals. Charles worked at Polly’s Market in Whitmore Lake for over 40 years, first as an employee, then later as a manager. Both Charles and his wife were big U of M fans. They also collected Heisey glass. A lover of animals, he leaves behind two kitties. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Charles will be missed by his sister Donna (Bob) Phillips, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Diana Rose.

His Farewell… Charles’ family and friends will gather privately at a later time to be determined. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Humane Society of Livingston County or Huron Valley.
