His Legacy… Charles Robert Staebler,91, passed away November 3, 2022.  He was born on March 11, 1931, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Eugene Staebler and Dorthea (Wuerfel) Staebler. Charles married the love of his life, Jean Helen Barnard on July 14, 1951, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Charles and Jean raised a beautiful family in Brighton, Michigan. Charles enjoyed traveling all over the United States, and fishing and hunting. He was very creative and had a patent in the medical field. Charles was a huge U of M fan and worked as an usher in the stadium for 25 years. He loved kids and was a friend to everyone. Charles was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

His Family…Charles will be missed by his daughter, Claire (Kevin) Staebler Donovan; grandchildren, Renelle (Wesley) Staebler Lamey, Michael (Katie Proos) Donovan, Denise Donovan, Garrett (Janet Bobryk) Staebler, Spenser Staebler; great grandchildren, Jace Lamey, Adrianna Lamey, Troy Lamey, Brennan Lamey, Jordan Donovan, James Donovan, Elise Staebler, Isabelle Staebler; and daughter-in-law, April Rodriguez Staebler. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Dorthea Staebler; wife, Jean Barnard; and son, David Staebler.

His Farewell… Charles’s family and friends will gather from 2PM-5PM, Friday, November 11, 2022 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. His memorial service will follow at 5:00PM. Memorial contributions may be given to Reliant, 11002 Lakehart Drive, Ste. 100, Orlando, FL, 32832.
