Her Legacy… Cheril Lynn Cavins, 71, passed away January 1, 2026.  She was born on June 18, 1954, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Michael and Sharon (VanSickle) Fearer. Cheril was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She had a love for animals, a day at the farm, nature, her dog and sidekick Buddy, but most of all her family and a day spent with them. Cheril was quick witted. She loved to be a part of any “prank” or any way to make someone laugh. Her smile was infectious and her eyes had a gentle spark. Cheril was generous and thoughtful. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.

Her Family… Cheril will be missed by her children, Chad Leach, Tessa (Jason) Ruelle; brothers, Michael (Bonnie) Fearer, Mark (Melissa) Fearer, Steven (Kelly) Fearer, Troy Branham, Todd VanSickle; she was the proud grandmother of Kaitlynn (Thomas) DeVoy, Steven (Madison) Leach, Kendall (Jay) Moran, Nicholas Leach, Kenzie Leach, Jonathan Dockett, Ashley (Kyel) Leach, Jessica (James) Adkins, Michael (Megan) Ruelle, Audrey (Justin) Ruelle, Lainey Ruelle; and 10 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and her dearly beloved, like a son, William Pettigrew.  She is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Cavins; parents, Michael and Sharon Fearer; and daughter, Jodi Lynn Fearer.
