Her Legacy… Christine Susan Nitz, 77, passed away April 21, 2025.  She was born September 16, 1947, in Livonia, Michigan to Richard Lishinski and Wilma (Heikkuri) Lishinski. Christine was married to the love of her life, David Nitz, for 57 years. She will be remembered for her selfless, giving nature and being a devoted mother and grandmother. Christine would gladly do anything to make her children and family happy.  She was incredibly strong and had “sisu”. She also enjoyed spending time in the garden and being with her soulmate, David.

Her Family… Christine leaves behind her sons, Tim (Julie) and Jeff (Julie); and grandchildren, Austin, Evan, Henry, Charlie, Molly, Mitchell, and Adam; and nephews, Alex and Sam. She is preceded in death by her loving husband David; her parents, Richard and Wilma Lishinski.

Her Farewell… Christine’s family and friends will gather on Thursday April 24, 2025 5:00 PM until the time of her Community Farewell Service at 7:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Howell Memorial Chapel in Howell, Michigan.
