Claudette Mikesell, age 72, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2023 after many years of battling health issues. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Claudette was born on June 23, 1950 and came from a large and very close Italian family. She was married to Dr. Wesley B. Mikesell Jr. and took on the role of stepmom and friend to all 9 of his children and their spouses and was a loving grandma to all their children. They lived in their home in Taylor, Michigan for many years which was a place of constant gatherings and many amazing memories for so many people. Claudette enjoyed great food, shopping, reading, music and spending time with friends and family. She lived out her last several years in Pinckney, Mi. with her daughter Rachel Swinton and husband David, along with her grandsons Alex and Ashton. A private memorial service will be held for Claudette with her closest family and friends. May she rest easy with those she loved who have passed on before her and may her memory vividly remain in our hearts. Until we meet again.
