Colette Yvonne (Clark) Hicks-Steeb

Her Legacy… Colette Yvonne Hicks-Steeb, age 53, passed away September 18, 2021. She was born on December 11, 1967, in Dearborn Heights, MI to William and Elke (Hoppner) Clark. Colette married Shawn Steeb on April 25, 2015 in Dexter, MI. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. Colette liked dogs and horses. She showed Morgan horses and Hackney ponies nationally. Most of all, Colette loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Colette leaves behind her husband, Shawn Steeb; and daughters, Katie Hicks, Shannon Hicks, Emily Hicks, and Hannah Hicks. She is also survived by parents, William (Marilyn) Clark, Elke (Robert Vogel) Clark; stepbrother, Andy (Emily) Bell; and brother-in-law, Christopher (Dawn) Steeb. Colette is preceded in death by her first husband, Mark Hicks.

Her Farewell… Colette’s Community Farewell will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 7PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel with a gathering beginning at 3PM until the time of service.
