Her Legacy… Cynthia Jane Hansen, 73, passed away March 14, 2024.  She was born on June 18, 1950, in Detroit, Michigan to John Burrows and Mary (Wethington) Burrows. Cindy married the love of her life, Ronald Hansen, in August 2003, in Saline, Michigan. Cindy was a licensed beautician and loved her career as a cosmetology instructor. She was full of joy, very caring and had a great sense of humor. Cindy was an excellent cook and enjoyed trying recipes that she would see on the Food Network. She was a fan of Detroit sports and Michigan football. Cindy loved the beach in Florida, playing board games, card games and going to the casino. Cindy adored her grandchildren, they brought her so much joy. Cindy was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Her Family… Cindy will be missed by her sons, Brett (Nikki) Briggs, Brandon (LeAnna) Briggs; step-sons, Ryan (Nancy) Hansen, Rod Hansen; sister, Pam McMillian; grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Brailyn, Bristol, Brooke; step-grandchildren, Zach, Taylor, Allison, Carsen; nephew, Bill Robertson; niece, Pam Hafner. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hansen; and parents, John and Mary Burrows.

Her Farewell… Cindy’s family and friends will gather Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:00AM-12:30PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel. Her Community Farewell will follow at 12:30PM. Aaron Wooster will serve as celebrant. Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Health Cancer Center of Brighton.
