Her Legacy… Cynthia Gaye Skrent, 67, passed away November 20, 2022.  She was born on September 2, 1955, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Jack Barnett and Jewell (Ford) Barnett. Cindy married the love of her life, Ken Skrent, on August 12, 2000, in Hamburg, Michigan. Cindy had a loving soul, and was kind, funny and witty. She was a classy, well-mannered woman, with good etiquette. Cindy was a travel agent for over 20 years, and traveled all over the world. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Ken. She was an avid reader, loved working on crosswords and making ceramics. Cindy was a joy to know and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her Family… Cindy will be missed by her husband, Ken Skrent; her step-children, Rory Skrent, Emerald Skrent, Seana (Kyle) Clark, Beatrice (Keith) Rivard; siblings, Danny Barnett, Pamela Barnett; grandchildren, Ashlyn Dismuke, Jaxston Jason, and Kynsley Wade. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Jewell Barnett.

Her Farewell… Cindy’s family and friends will gather Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, from 1PM-3PM. Her Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00PM.
