Dale Albert Showers

His Legacy… Dale Albert Showers “Rhino”, age 76, passed away April 17, 2022. He was born on November 2, 1945, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania to Merrill and Bessie (Turner) Showers. Dale married the love of his life, Vera Eifert, on October 5, 1968, in Bloomsburg, PA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, and leading a team of high school football referees. He was a dedicated fan of The Pennsylvania State University. Most of all, Dale loved spending time with his family playing basketball and card games. He was proud of his family. Dale will be remembered for his kindhearted nature and sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Dale leaves behind his wife, Vera; daughters, Heather (Dean) Skinner, Holly (Steffan) Ramage; and grandchildren, Victoria, Veronica, Elizabeth, and Evan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dale is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert.
