His Legacy… Daniel Patrick Cox, 66, passed away June 13, 2022. He was born on April 9, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan to James Cox and Catherine (Tittjung) Cox. Dan married the love of his life, Janet Burns, on December 9, 1978, in Detroit, Michigan. Dan was the life of the party and liked to entertain. He had a larger than life personality and loved people. He loved riding motorcycles, water skiing, boating and dancing to rock and roll. In past times you could find him “baha-ing in the Jimmy” with the kids. Dan was always the most fun person in the room. Dan was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
His Family… Dan will be missed by his wife Janet Cox; his children, James Cox, Renee Cox; siblings, Dave (Jane) Cox, Donald (Sharon) Cox, Debra (Bob) Orlowski; sister-in-law, Heidi Cox; and granddaughter, Tabitha Bartrum. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Katherine Cox; and twin brother Dennis Cox.
His Farewell… Dan’s family and friends will gather Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 11:00AM-1:00PM, with a time of sharing at 1:00PM, at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel, Michigan.
