His Legacy… Danny Franklin Garrett, passed away December 23, 2025. He was born on July 4 1952, in Murray Kentucky to Frank Garrett and Grace (McElhiney) Garrett. Danny married the love of his life, Debbie Truskowski, on June 16, 1972 in Wayne, Michigan. Danny joined the Air Force in ’71. Danny had worked for AT&T for 46 years and later retired in 2018. He loved the outdoors where he played tennis, went fishing and enjoyed yard work. Danny was also a big Detroit Lions fan while also playing hockey as a goalie. Danny enjoyed coaching football and baseball. Danny was a man who loved his family and his dogs. Danny liked comedies and westerns, and loved The Three Stooges. Danny enjoyed playing many musical instruments, his favorite music genre was rock. Danny will be remembered as a kind, loyal and funny man who was proud of his sons and loved his family.

His Family… Danny will be missed by his wife Debbie Garrett; his children Brian, Michael, Christopher (Heather) Garrett; sister Pamela Hudson; grandchildren; Steven, Daniel, Cooper, Reese, Charlotte, Adeline, and Franklin. He is preceded in death by His parents Frank and Grace Garrett and infant sister.

His Farewell…Danny’s Community Farewell will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 3:00PM (1:00PM-3:00PM gathering), at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
