Danny Paul Staton

His Legacy… Danny Paul Staton, age 74, passed away April 30, 2021. He was born on September 1, 1946, in Vulcan, West Virginia to Sam and Alva (Castle) Staton. Danny was one of nine children. He proudly served his country in the Navy. Danny married the love of his life, Theresa Elizabeth Ackerman, on November 28, 1986 in Las Vegas, NV. He liked bowling, being in the outdoors, and caring for his lawn. Most of all, Danny loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a quiet, but funny husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Danny will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His Family… Danny leaves behind his wife, Terry; son, Bryan Scott Staton; and grandson, Isaiah Edward Staton. He is also survived by his sisters, Magdaline Staton Turner and Barbara Sue Looney. He is preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, William McClean Staton, Bertha Marie Staton, Lillian Staton, Esta Staton, Ralph Staton, and Manuel Lee Staton.
