His Legacy…David Ernst Ahrendt, passed away March 19, 2022.  He was born on June 19, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio to Rudolph Ernst Ahrendt and Frieda Krueger. David married the love of his life of 61 years, Cynthia L. (Morrison) Ahrendt, on October 15, 1960, in Temperance, Michigan.  David will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was the supervisor at the Livingston Health Department for many years.  David enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and gardening.  He was also known for his wonderful sense of humor.  David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  

His Family… David will be missed by his wife, Cindy; his children, Tad Hamilton Ahrendt, Tammy June (Ahrendt) Waller; siblings, Susan (Michael) McCullam, Warren (Louise) Ahrendt; grandchildren, Josh Waller, Amber (Brett) Waller Lamb; Great grandchildren, Thatcher Lamb; nieces and nephews, Tom (Cheryl) Ahrendt, John (Kerry) Ahrendt, Annie (Dustin) Rayburn, Abbey (Chris) Anteau, Beth ( Dan) Miller, Julie Rudzinski; Great Nephew, Devin Rayburn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Frieda Ahrendt.
