David Albaugh Obituary

His Legacy…David Lee Albaugh, 84, passed away April 27, 2025. He was born on September 3, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to David Albaugh and Leona (Winters) Albaugh. David married Sharon Lulfs, on June 13, 1997, in Howell, Michigan. David proudly served in the U.S. Navy, on the USS Lowry and was honorably discharged after 4 years. After his military service, David spent his career with Parker Hannifin, manufacturing auto parts. He had a great work ethic and developed many lifelong friendships there. David was very active in his community and spent many hours supporting the Lions Club in coordinating the annual Pinckney Hootin in the Park. He was an avid sports fan and passionately followed the Wolverines, Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. He was active at St. Mary Catholic Church and had a great heart for his friends and family. David loved to make people laugh and smile. He enjoyed driving and took many trips from Michigan to Arizona and California to visit family. David was very handy and loved to work on cars, computers and anything else he felt needed to be fixed. He had an extensive coin collection, with a fondness for pennies. David loved westerns, old movies, and country music. David was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

His Family… David will be missed by numerous nieces; nephews; stepchildren and step grandchildren in addition to many dear friends and neighbors. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Albaugh; parents, David and Leona Albaugh; and siblings, William, Betty, Darlene, and Patricia.

His Farewell… Interment services will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, 450 Mower, Pinckney, MI, September 6, 2025, at 1:00PM. A Celebration of Life will follow at St. Mary's Church at 2:00PM, with lite bites and refreshments.
