His Legacy…David Robert Barry, 74, passed away October 24, 2025.  He was born on July 19, 1951, to Joseph Barry and Mildred (Dawson) Barry. David worked for Henry Ford Health in Detroit from 1970 to 2024. He enjoyed his job and was very dedicated to his work. David was quiet and shy and had a good heart. He was an avid reader, he loved to read books, magazines and newspapers. His faith was very important to him; he attended Allen Park Presbyterian Church for many years. Growing up, he attended Redford Presbyterian Church, and it always held a special place in his heart. David enjoyed many sports and keeping informed on his favorite teams. David was a joy to know and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

His Family… David will be missed by his brother, James Barry; niece, Karen (Ted) Powers; nephew, James (Amy) Barry; great-nieces, Kaila Powers, Brinlee Barry; great-nephews, Nathan Powers, Brenton Barry, and Tanner Barry. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Barry; sister, Bonnie Barry; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Barry.

His Farewell… David’s family and friends will gather Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Huron River Methodist Church, Dexter, Michigan. His Community Farewell will follow at 11:00AM.
