David James Hatfield, 68, of Pinckney, passed away on December 27, 2022 after a long struggle with COPD.
Dave was born on March 19th, 1954 to Jim and Sally Hatfield in the city of Saline, Michigan. Dave graduated from Saline High School in 1972.
Immediately upon graduation, he proudly hired in at Ford Motor Company, Ypsilanti Plant. Where he spent 34 years before retiring at the young age of 52.
In 1973, he met the love of his life Nicole Lynn Bean, having been happily married for 48 years. They went on to have 3 children, Jennifer, Jason and Ashley.
Dave had the love of hunting, camping, muscle cars, music especially motown and blue grass. He especially loved spending time with his family and the holidays. He was a die- hard Detroit Tigers Fan and enjoyed his morning coffee and daily Newspapers. Dave’s memory of vivid details throughout his life was uncanny.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Jim and Sally, his sister Catherine Scriven (Rick). He is survived by his wife Nicole Hatfield. Children Jennifer Coppola (Nick), Jason Hatfield (Karisa) Ashley (Brad). Grandchildren Dominic, Jared, Natalie, Kole, Kayla, Karly. Siblings Robert Hatfield (Glenda), MaryAnn Wertenberger (Bruce), Steve (Jaime), Donald Hatfield (Denise). Services will be held at Borek Jennings Hamburg, 7425 E. M36, Hamburg 48139 on December 30th, 2022 at 2:00PM (11:00AM-2:00PM gathering). Burial to follow at Pinckney Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for future designation.
