His Legacy… David Peter Moraschinelli, 83, passed away March 2, 2026.  He was born on October 21, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan to Primo Moraschinelli and Sara (Candela) Moraschinelli. Dave married his wife, Marsha (Heath) Moraschinelli, on June 10, 1978.  He will be remembered as a jokester who was loved by all. Dave enjoyed golfing, bowling, and going to Florida to spend time with his friends – in fact, he made friends everywhere he went. It would be difficult to find someone who doesn’t like Dave but even with his social circle, no one mattered more to him than his family. He was a great dad who made sure that his family knew that they mean the world to him.

His Family… Dave will be missed by his loving wife, Marsha; his children, Leigh Altman, Joseph (Jennifer) Moraschinelli, Robert (Jennifer) Moraschinelli, Casandra (Steven) Anderson; grandchildren, Ashley (Aldo) D’Orazio, Tracy (Jeff) Schwartz, Abigail Moraschinelli, Penelope Moraschinelli, Jessica (Ryan) Sharnas, Jacob Moraschinelli, Alexis (Carl) Lucas, Cory Anderson, Brooke Anderson; great grandchildren, Victoria Schwartz, Colton Schwartz, Brayden Schwartz, Alexander D’Orazio, Angelina D’Orazio; cousins, Michael (Roxanne) Cesaro. He is preceded in death by his parents, Primo and Sara Moraschinelli, his great grandson, Colter Leon Lucas, and his aunts, Jackie Candela and Angie Cesaro.

His Farewell… Dave’s family and friends will gather Wednesday, March 4, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes in Howell, Michigan. Gathering will continue Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Howell. Father Brett Ivey will serve as celebrant.
