Her Legacy… Dawn Marie (Chard) Kleinschmidt, 65, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, to Billy Chard and Beverly (Furmanek) Chard. On October 27, 1979, Dawn married the love of her life, Tony Kleinschmidt, in Fowlerville, Michigan, beginning a marriage of 46 years filled with love and devotion. Dawn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and cherished grandmother who always put the needs of others before her own. She found great joy in caring for her family, whether she was preparing home-cooked meals, planning family gatherings, or simply making everyone feel welcome and loved. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and supporting their passions. In her free time, Dawn enjoyed reading, traveling, camping in the family's beloved "Mo-ho," and trying her luck at the casino. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Her Family… Dawn will be missed by her Husband, Tony Kleinschmidt; her children, Nikki (Mike) Powers, Kayla Kleinschmidt, Keri (Dan) LeFevre; siblings, Debbie (Rick) Browne, Darlene (Craig) Horton, Denise (Bruce) Leach; grandchildren, Collin, Madalyn, Jayden, Nevaeh, Presley, Camren; along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, baby Kleinschmidt; parents, Bill and Beverly Chard.

Her Farewell… Dawn‘s family and friends will gather 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Borek Jennings Funeral Homes in Fowlerville, Michigan.  Her Community Farewell Service will be on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 11:00 AM (10:00 AM Gathering time) at the First Baptist Church of Fowlerville, in Fowlerville, Michigan.
