Obituary

Deborah Ann Donahue, age 68, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. She was born on June 26, 1957, in Highland Park, Michigan, to the late Elmer and Cecilia (Sheehan) Wilhelm.

Debbie married the love of her life, Steven Boisvenu, with whom she shared nearly four decades of a beautiful, devoted life. They were true partners, always happiest in each other’s company—talking, listening, and never ceasing to learn from and enjoy one another.

Debbie was a profoundly loving person who centered her life around her family. She brought laughter, gentleness, and an authentic genuineness to everyone she met, whether she was sharing a life adventure for a single day, a year, or many decades. As a consummate and active listener, she possessed a unique talent for bringing joy and providing the exact support those around her needed. Debbie was always more interested in your life than her own, and she was always willing to help with any difficulty, whether small, large, or very messy. She thrived on being present, actively engaged in a never say never footing. Debbie engaged life as one long path of empathy, always laying new roads for people to help them get to their destinations.
