Her Legacy… Deborah Irene McConnell, 68, passed away August 10, 2021.  She was born on May 29, 1953, in Garden City, Michigan to Eugene Brager and Margaret (Robinson) Brager. Deborah married the love of her life, Stephen McConnell, on April 28, 1973, in Pontiac, Michigan and they spent 48 wonderful years together.  Deborah was a great mom and home school teacher, helping to fight for the right for home school education to be legalized in the state of Michigan. Her family was her greatest joy and she will be remembered as a loving and thoughtful wife, mother and grandmother.

Her Family… Deborah will be missed by her husband, Stephen McConnell; her children, Daniel Robert (Angela Fasbender)McConnell, Tamara Erin McConnell (John Fincke), Gene-David McConnell; Grandchildren, Makayla Preece, Megan Preece, Allyson McConnell, Emma McConnell, Autumn Shore and Vincent Shore. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Margaret.
